Delete your Takalamu account
This page explains how to delete your Takalamu account (the Arabic learning app) and the related data, whether you still have access to the app or not.
From the app (immediate)
If you can access your account:
- Log in to your Takalamu account (app or takalamu.com).
- Open Settings, section "Danger zone".
- Tap "Delete my account" and confirm.
Deletion is immediate and irreversible: credentials, progress, review statistics and favorites are erased.
By email (without access to the app)
If you can no longer log in, send your deletion request from the email address linked to your account to [email protected]. We process it within 30 days at most.
What is deleted, what is kept
Deleted: your email address, username, password, progress, review statistics, favorites and phrasebook.
Kept: billing records related to your payments, kept by our payment provider for the legal retention period (accounting and tax obligations).
Subscriptions
Deleting your account immediately cancels a subscription purchased on takalamu.com.
If you subscribed through the App Store or Google Play, also cancel the subscription in your store's subscription settings: deleting your account does not automatically cancel a subscription managed by Apple or Google.
