1. Purpose
These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the Takalamu platform, accessible at takalamu.com. By creating an account, you accept these Terms without reservation.
2. Service Description
Takalamu is an Arabic language learning platform offering interactive lessons, varied exercises (FlashSwipe, Quiz, Grid, Puzzle, Assembly) and a spaced repetition system (SRS). Content is organized in progressive thematic circles.
3. Registration
Access to the service requires creating an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate information during registration
- Keep your credentials confidential
- Not create multiple accounts for the same person
- Be at least 13 years old (or have parental consent)
4. Service Usage
The user agrees not to:
- Use the service for unlawful purposes or contrary to good morals
- Copy, reproduce or distribute educational content without authorization
- Attempt to circumvent security measures or access other users' data
- Use scripts, bots or automated tools to interact with the service
5. Content and Intellectual Property
All content (lessons, dialogues, exercises, audio, illustrations) is protected by intellectual property law. Access to the service grants a personal, non-transferable right of use. Any reproduction is prohibited without prior written agreement.
6. Offers and Pricing
Takalamu offers a free plan with limited access and paid plans (monthly or annual subscription). Current prices are available on the Pricing page. Takalamu reserves the right to modify its prices; current subscriptions remain at the subscribed rate until renewal.
7. Right of Withdrawal
In accordance with Article L.221-28 (13°) of the French Consumer Code, the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to Premium subscriptions: by subscribing, you expressly request immediate access to the digital content and expressly waive your right of withdrawal. 8. Termination
You may terminate your account at any time from your account settings. Takalamu reserves the right to suspend or delete an account in case of violation of these Terms, after notification by email.
9. Limitation of Liability
Takalamu strives to keep the service accessible 24/7. However, access may be interrupted for maintenance or in case of force majeure. Takalamu shall not be held liable for indirect damages related to the use of the service.
10. Applicable Law
These Terms are governed by French law. In case of dispute, the parties agree to seek an amicable solution. Failing that, the competent courts of Paris shall have sole jurisdiction.
